Lesson #1: Transfiguration Basics

Lesson 1: Transfiguration basics.

First off students, transfiguration is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts. Anyone messing around in my class will leave and not come back. You have been warned.
You must know the basics before I can start teaching you spells of any kind.
Transfiguration is the art of changing the form and appearance of an object and the vanishing of objects. This magical art is governed by Gamp’s Law of Elemental Transfiguration which acknowledges the limits to the power of this branch of magic.
There are 5 exceptions to transfiguration according to Gamp’s Law of Elemental Transfiguration: food, gold, information, love, and the soul (Although birds and flowers are created using transfiguration spells, they remain creations. It doesn’t mean they are really alive, as they depend on the spell duration).
Transfiguring can be done to most, if not all objects. Sometimes if it is done improperly the transfigured object can become half-transfigured or permanently stuck so be extremely cautious with pronunciation and proper wand technique.

Lesson #2: Spell

Lesson 2: Spell

Avifors (AVI-forz) is a spell that transfigures objects into a bird or a flock of birds.
From Latin avis meaning bird, and fors meaning luck, chance which is a suffix often used for transfiguration spells.

Lesson #3: Untransfiguration

Lesson 3: Untransfiguration.

In the previous lesson, I introduced the “Avifors” spell. Well this class I will be teaching you how to undo transfigurations and returning people or objects to their proper form.
In order to untransfigure someone or something, you must use the Homorphus Charm.
Remember to use proper wand technique or else this charm, and other spells will not work!

Lesson #4: Human Transfiguration

Lesson 4: Human Transfiguration.

Human Transfiguration is a branch of Transfiguration in which one Transfigures human body parts or an entire human being into another form. This can be considered a difficult branch of transfiguration because it is more powerful than turning an object into another object.
Human Transfiguration can be used to essentially replicate the natural abilities of Metamorphmagi, allowing the practitioner or the subject to take on an entirely different form, or make various individual changes to their appearance, such as growing or changing the color of one’s hair or taking on individual animal body parts.
However, while human Transfiguration can presumably be performed by any wizard who’s skilled enough, on themselves as well as on others, a Metamorphmagus is born with the ability to make such changes to their own bodies with little to no effort, and without the use of a wand.
Although it is possible to Transfigure humans into inanimate objects, it is unknown how someone someone Self-Transfiguring into an object would be able to Untransfigure without the intervention of another witch or wizard.

Lesson #1: Merpeople

Lesson 1: Merpeople

Merpeople are sentient beings who live underwater in lakes and seas, although they can breathe air for short periods of time. Merpeople are intelligent folk who have developed their own culture and social structures and have a great love of music. Merpeople are found all over the world, including the Lake near Hogwarts. The voices of merpeople sound like screeching above water but are understandable beneath the waves, where they sound croaky. Their own language is called Mermish.
Merpeople around the world vary in appearance just as humans do. The sirens of Greece are the oldest recorded merpeople, who match the descriptions of Muggle legend (and the painting in the Prefects’ bathroom), while the selkies of Scotland and the merrows of Ireland differ in appearance.

The merpeople of Hogwarts - who are selkies - have greyish skin and long, wild, dark green hair. Their eyes are yellow, as are their broken teeth, and they wear thick ropes of pebbles around their necks. Their powerful, silver fish tails allow them to swim expertly, while the upper parts of their bodies resemble those of humans. Merpeople are very tall. Harry Potterencountered one in the lake near Hogwarts during the Triwizard Tournament of 1995 who was seven feet tall with a long green beard and a choker of shark fangs, carrying a spear.

The merpeople’s village is located in the center of the lake, a quarter of a mile from Hogwarts castle. The edge of the village is marked by a large rock with paintings of merpeople on it; they are carrying spears and chasing the giant squid. The village consists of clusters of crude stone dwellings stained with algae. In the center of the village, the houses line a village square in which rises a crude sort of statue of a gigantic merperson hewn from a boulder.
Some houses have gardens of weed around some of them, and a few merpeople keep a pet grindylow tied to a stake outside their homes.
The merfolk who live in the lake near Hogwarts are led by Merchieftainess Murcus.

Lesson #1: Pitches

Lesson #1 Pitches
Pitches
Quidditch matches are played on (or rather over) an oval-shaped, 500 feet (150 m) long and 180 feet (55 m) wide pitch, with a small central circle approximately 2 feet (0.61 m) in diameter. At each end stand three hooped goal posts, each at a different height: one at 30 ft (9.1 m), one at 40 ft (12 m), and one at 50 ft (15 m), comprising the scoring area. There is also a line that shows mid-field, which is 180 ft (55 m). Quidditch fields have white shaded areas around the goalposts, to mark the scoring area and the bounds in which keepers must stay. These are on very few Quidditch fields. Since Quidditch is an aerial sport, Quidditch pitches are shown to feature spectator seating at high vantage points, either in towers (such as at Hogwarts) or in a fully-encircling platform, and the “top box” is considered the most prestigious place for a spectator to be seated. The British stadium that is shown for the 1994 Quidditch World Cup, is of this latter style, which appears similar to modern football or athletics stadium, albeit that the seating continues to curve upwards beyond the vertical, almost enclosing the pitch. Both the Hogwarts and World Cup pitches have been shown turfed with grass. The surface is used primarily for launching off at the beginning of the game, and on occasion for falling onto when players are dismounted from their brooms. Seekers, who sometimes fly close to the pitch surface, can be tricked into crashing into the surface occasionally at great speed (when tricked into doing so by the opposing seeker, it is known as the Wronski feint).

Lesson #2: Brooms

 Lesson #2 Brooms
Magical flying broomsticks are one of the forms of transportation for wizards and witches, as well as for playing Quidditch. Interestingly, Hogwarts Quidditch players are allowed to use whatever broomsticks they or their sponsors can afford, despite the fact that more expensive brooms often confer great (and arguably unfair) advantages in speed and manoeuvrability. The Nimbus model line has a reputation as one of the best in the Wizarding world. Harry receives a Nimbus 2000 during his first year so that he can play for Gryffindor. A Firebolt is an advanced professional-level flying broomstick and the most expensive and fastest racing broom in existence. It is said that they are the best in the world. They can even fly out of the atmosphere if the weather conditions are fair. Comets and Cleansweeps are cheaper than the Nimbuses and are more common. (The latter, however, has been identified as still a decent broom.) A Shooting Star is another brand of broom, but it is considered to be slow and out of style. Another broomstick series called The Bluebottle was introduced in the advertisements at the Quidditch World Cup, it was described as a family broom, with safety devices such as an anti-theft alarm. There is also another brand called Silver Arrows, as mentioned in Quidditch Through the Ages, along with the Tinderblast, Swiftstick, and Twigger 90, and the Oakshaft 79. The Oakshaft is the broom famed for its journey across the Atlantic and the Moontrimmer was popular because it was still controllable at extremely high altitudes.

Assignment #2

Assignment #2

What is a Quaffle?
A Quaffle is a ball used in the wizarding game of Quidditch. It is twelve inches in diameter, red, leather-covered ball used as the main object of play. The three Chasers carry and pass the Quaffle to their opponent’s goal hoops, where they try to score points by throwing it through one of the three rings. Each time it passes through the hoops, the scoring team scores ten points.

What is a Bludger?
A Bludger is a round, jet black ball, made of iron, and is used in the wizarding sport of Quidditch. It is ten inches in diameter. There are two Bludgers used in every match, which are bewitched to fly around and try to knock the players off of their brooms. It is the Beater’s job to protect their teammates from the Bludgers and at the same time aim them towards the opposing players.

What is a Snitch?
The Golden Snitch, sometimes called simply the Snitch, is the fourth ball used in Quidditch. It is a small gold-coloured sphere with wings and is about the size of a walnut. It flies around the Quidditch field at high speeds, sometimes pausing and hovering in place. The Seeker’s goal is to catch the Snitch before the other team’s seeker, which is worth one-hundred and fifty points. The game can only end when the Snitch has been caught.

And also, what thing was replaced by the Snitch = Answered correctly

Lesson #3: Quidditch Balls

Lesson #3 Quidditch Balls

Quaffle
The Quaffle is spherical in shape, bright red in color, and approximately 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter, and about the weight of a soccer ball. It is explained in Quidditch Through the Ages that the Quaffle is enchanted to fall very slowly through the air when dropped to prevent players having to continuously dive to retrieve it. The backstory of Quidditch explains that the red color was instituted to create a stronger contrast between the Quaffle and mud. The Quaffle is also enchanted to make it easy to grip with only one hand. There is only one quaffle, unlike the bludgers.

Bludgers
The two Bludgers are big, hard, iron balls, approximately 10 inches (25 cm) in diameter. They are described as being bewitched to fly without any visible means of propulsion, although they do retain inertia, which makes them unable to change speed or direction swiftly. Their purpose in the game is to be an obstacle: they fly around attempting to hit players off their brooms indiscriminately. While it is possible to enchant them to seek out specific targets, it is illegal in the rules of the game.

Golden Snitch
The Golden Snitch, often referred to as simply the Snitch, is a small golden ball the approximate size of a walnut (roughly 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter).Developed by Bowman Wright (1492–1560) The winged Snitch is enchanted to hover and dart around the pitch, avoiding capture while remaining within the boundaries of the playing area. Each team has a designated Seeker, whose only task is to capture the Snitch. The team who catches the Snitch scores 150 points, and strictly speaking, only the capture of the Snitch will end the game. (However Quidditch Through the Ages describes an instance in which the team captains agreed to end the game without the capture of the Snitch, as the game had gone on for several months, and the captains were unhappy with their respective Seekers’ performances.) Games have been known to last for months, so it is of key importance to catch the Golden Snitch as quickly as possible. Also, the Snitch has a “flesh memory”, able to recall the first person who has touched it, and will respond only to the first person who caught it. This helps when there is a dispute about who caught the snitch first.

Bowman Wright of Godric’s Hollow was the first person to fashion a Golden Snitch, replacing the Golden Snidget bird, a magical creature resembling a hummingbird also mentioned in Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, which was previously used in the game, but was replaced due to animal cruelty issues. The Snidget was first introduced into Quidditch in 1269, when the newly appointed Chief of the Wizards’ Council, a man by the name of Barberus Bragge, released a Snidget during a Quidditch match and offered 150 Galleons to the player who was able to catch it. No other player aside from the Seeker is allowed to touch the Snitch, and referees and Snitch makers wear gloves when handling them.

Excerpt from Hogwarts: A History

Over a thousand years ago, the four greatest witches and wizards of the age shared a dream, to create a school where young people of the wizarding world could study and be trained in the magical arts they needed to become skilled, fully-trained wizards. These four great wizards each founded one of the Houses of the school that they worked together to form: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They have been referred to as ‘The Hogwarts Four.’
For a number of years, this arrangement worked just fine. Each of the founders took a group of students to be in their own house and even though they had differences of opinion about who should be trained, the house system helped them all to work together. However, as the years went by, the differences between Gryffindor and Slytherin became a serious rift. Eventually Slytherin left the school.
- Hogwarts: A History

Godric Gryffindor

Godric Gryffindor believed that anyone who showed magical ability should be allowed to attend Hogwarts.
Appearance: Based upon the image by Lightmaker from JKR’s website (shown here), he has mane-like red hair, green eyes, and a powerful build. Canon, or artistic license? Only Jo (and Lightmaker) know for sure.
Home: According to the Sorting Hat, Gryffindor came “from wild moor.” Bathilda Bagshot’s A History of Magic is a little more specific: Gryffindor was born in the West Country village of Godric’s Hollow, named for Godric himself (DH16).
Skills: According to JKR, “Godric Gryffindor was the most accomplished dueller of his time, an enlightened fighter against Muggle-discrimination.”
Artifacts: The Sorting Hat originally belonged to Gryffindor. His goblin-made sword, with rubies in the handle, has also survived and was, at various times, in the possession of Dumbledore, Harry, Ron and Neville. The sword was not stolen, though the goblins feel othervise (BLC).
Device: Lion.
Colors: Red and gold.

Helga Hufflepuff

Appearance: Based upon the image by Lightmaker from JKR’s website (shown here), Hufflepuff has gingery red hair, blue eyes, and a plump figure. Canon, or artistic license? Only Jo (and Lightmaker) know for sure.
Home: According to the Sorting Hat, Hufflepuff came “from valley broad,” which Lexicon reader Ian tells us probably indicates Wales.
Skills: According to JKR’s website, Hufflepuff was particularly famous for her dexterity at food-related Charms. Many recipes traditionally served at Hogwarts feasts originated with Hufflepuff (JKR). Her Famous Wizard card states that “[s]he brought people from different walks of life together to help build Hogwarts and was loved for her charming ways.” (fw12). Another accomplishment of Hufflepuff’s was her concern for the treatment of House-elves in the Wizarding world. She made Hogwarts a refuge for them, and as a result they were treated more kindly there than elsewhere (PC122, PC130).
Artifacts: A small, magical golden cup with two finely wrought handles, engraved with a badger (HBP20, HBP26).
Device: Badger.
Colors: Yellow and black.

Salazar Slytherin

Appearance: In CS17, the statue of Slytherin was described as being “ancient and monkey-like.”
Based upon the image by Lightmaker from JKR’s website (shown here), Slytherin is gaunt with a long grey beard and pale grey eyes. Canon, or artistic license? Only Jo (and Lightmaker) know for sure.
Home: According to the Sorting Hat, Slytherin came from the fen. In the UK, fens are located in the eastern portion of England, East Anglia and in particular Norfolk which is North East of London.
Skills: Slytherin was one of the first recorded Parselmouths and an accomplished Legilimens (JKR).
Artifacts: A heavy gold locket carrying Salazar Slytherin’s mark (an ornate serpentine “S”). The locket was inherited by Merope Gaunt Riddle, pawned during her pregnancy to Borgin and Burkes, purchased by Hepzibah Smith, and subsequently stolen by Tom Riddle upon Smith’s murder (HBP20).
Possibly also a clumsily-made gold ring with the Peverell coat-of-arms carved into the black stone (HBP4, HBP10, HBP17, HBP23) (see Horcruxes page for more information).
Device: Snake.
Colors: Green and silver.
Salazar Slytherin believed that only pure-blood witches and wizards should be allowed to attend Hogwarts. He got into an argument with Godric Gryffindor about this and eventually left the school. There was a legend that Slytherin built a secret chamber somewhere in Hogwarts that only his true heir would be able to open. This chamber, called the Chamber of Secrets, contained a monster that would finish his “noble purpose” of killing all the Muggle-born students at Hogwarts. As Slytherin’s heir, Tom Riddle did open the Chamber and released the monster, a basilisk. Harry Potter defeated the basilisk with the help of Fawkes the phoenix and the sword of Gryffindor (CS).
Harry Potter has many qualities Salazar Slytherin prized in his hand-picked students: Parselmouth — resourcefulness — determination — a certain disregard for rules.

Rowena Ravenclaw

Appearance: “Fair Ravenclaw, from glen,” (GF12). The word “fair” can refer to overall attractiveness (as in “Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all” in Snow White) as well as paleness of skin color or hair. Although neither one is canon, both the image by Lightmaker from Jo’s website (see left) and the one on the original Famous Wizard card (Electronic Arts ™) show Ravenclaw with long dark hair and brown eyes.
Home: According to the Sorting Hat…”Ravenclaw came “from glen,” which, according to Lexicon reader Ian, probably means somewhere in Scotland, such as Glencoe or the Great Glen where Loch Ness is.
Family: A daughter named Helena, now known as The Grey Lady, the ghost of Ravenclaw House at Hogwarts (DH31).
Skills: Her Famous Wizard card tells us that “[i]t’s thought that she came up with the ever-changing floor plan. She’s best remembered for her intelligence and creativity.”
Artifacts: Diadem (tiara) inscribed “Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure” which bestows wisdom when worn. Stolen by her daughter Helena, who ran away to Albania and hid the diadem in a tree. It was later found by Tom Riddle who made a Horcrux with it and hid it in the room of Requirement. The diadem was destroyed by Fiendfyre (DH31) (see Horcruxes page for more information).
Device: Eagle.
Colors: Blue and bronze.
According to Jo’s website, Ravenclaw was “the most brilliant witch of her time,” who, according to legend, died of a broken heart (cause unknown) (JKR).
She is said to have stated: “We will teach those whose intelligence is surest.” (OP11) (fw16) Rowena was dear friends with Helga Hufflepuff.

Gryffindor House

Founder: Godric Gryffindor
Blazon: gules, a lion rampant or (that is, a golden lion on a red field, hence the Gryffindor colours of scarlet and gold)
Ghost: Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington (“Nearly Headless Nick”)
Characteristics:
Gryffindors are known for their courage
Location:
Gryffindor Tower, entrance on the seventh floor
The entrance is located behind a large painting of a Fat Lady in a pink silk dress. If you know the right password to tell her, she swings open to reveal a round opening in the wall. The common room contains a lot of squashy armchairs, a fireplace, and tables. The fireplace is connected to the Floo Network, but as it is extremely public except in the dead of night, Gryffindors usually use owls to communicate with their families instead. There’s also a notice board, for public announcements such as the date of the next Hogsmeade weekend, but also for notices from individual students seeking to buy or sell secondhand books, or trade Chocolate Frog cards, or similar, as in any school.
There are two staircases opening off the common room into the Tower itself: the boys’ staircase, on which the seven boys’ dormitories are located (one for each year) and the girls’ staircase, on which the seven girls’ dormitories are located (one for each year). The girls’ staircase is under a spell so that if a boy sets foot on it and persists for a few steps, a wailing klaxon goes off and the staircase temporarily Transfigures itself into a stone slide, sending him and anyone else on the stairs sailing to the bottom. According to Hogwarts: A History, the founders believed that girls were more trustworthy than boys, so that while the girls’ staircase is enchanted to prevent boys from getting in, the boys’ staircase does not carry a reciprocal enchantment (OP17). Each dormitory is a round room with windows looking out onto the grounds, and containing four-poster beds.
Gryffindor Quidditch team
The Gryffindor team won the Quidditch Cup during the 1993 - 1994 season - the first time since 1984 - and again during the 1995 - 1996 season. They wear robes of scarlet.

Hufflepuff House

Founder: Helga Hufflepuff
Blazon: or, a badger sable (that is, a black badger on a golden field, hence the Hufflepuff colours of yellow and black) (GF15)
Ghost: The Fat Friar
Sorting Hat’s description (PS7):
These belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal.
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil.
Location: Accessed through a still life painting found near the kitchens; to reach it, you enter a door to the right of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and down a staircase there (GF17). Although it is therefore at dungeon level, it is “as dissimilar as possible” from the Potions classroom. As we have seen in the other common rooms, it is decorated in House colours, which in this case means that there are lots of yellow hangings; like Gryffindor Tower, it has a lot of comfortable armchairs. There are “little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops” (BLC, JKR).
This last detail is reminiscent of hobbit architecture as described in J.R.R. Tolkien’s book The Hobbit - MLW.

Ravenclaw House

Founder: Rowena Ravenclaw
Blazon: azure, an eagle or (that is, a golden eagle on a blue field, hence the Ravenclaw colours of blue and bronze)
Ghost: Helena Ravenclaw, the Grey Lady
Sorting Hat’s description:
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw
If you’ve a ready mind
Where those of wit and learning
Will always find their kind.
Location: Ravenclaw Tower, which is located on the west side of the castle (OP18); the entrance is a door at the top of a tightly winding spiral staircase that leads up from the fifth floor. The door has neither handle nor keyhole, but a talking bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. Rather than asking for a conventional password, the knocker will ask a question; if answered correctly, the knocker will compliment the person on the answer and the door will swing open (DH29).
The common room, like the other House common rooms, is decorated in House colours (blue and bronze silk wall hangings, in this case, and a midnight-blue carpet decorated with stars). The room is wide, circular, and very airy, with a domed ceiling painted with stars, and walls with graceful arched windows that provide a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. There are bookcases, tables, and chairs, and opposite the entrance is another door leading to the dormitories. Beside this door is a plinth on which stands a life-size statue in white marble of Rowena Ravenclaw wearing her diadem (DH29).

History Of Magic

While the main timeline gives names and dates for specific events, this chronology indicates broad eras in the history of the wizarding world and traces the development of the ever-widening gap between the Muggle and wizarding communities.
Ancient Egypt -
Egyptian wizards put curses on tombs; nowadays curse-breakers for Gringotts try to regain the treasure locked in those tombs, one pyramid has mutant skeletons of Muggles who’d broken in and “grown extra heads and stuff.” Magic is integrated into society and Wizards are held in high esteem.
about 1000 AD -
Growing distrust on the part of Muggles for wizards and witches compels the four greatest witches and wizards of the age to found Hogwarts. Salazar Slytherin builds the Chamber of Secrets after his point of view that only pure-blood wizards should be allowed into Hogwarts was dismissed. The wizarding world begins to withdraw and hide itself from the Muggle world.
Fourteenth Century -
Witch burnings; Muggles were particularly afraid of magic but not very good at recognizing it, Wendelin the Weird burned at the stake 47 times in various disguises (Flame-Freezing Charm)
1400’s -
With the coming of the Renaissance and the increasing reliance among Muggles on scientific reasoning, the break between the Wizarding and Muggle worlds is becoming more and more complete. Each culture goes on to create their own civilization: social structures, economies, governments, etc. Each borrows a little from the other as the years go by but it becomes apparent that the Muggles must be kept ignorant of the existence of their magical kin for their own good. Some Muggles persecute their magical neighbors, others try to exploit magical power for their own gain and for quick fixes to their problems.
1600’s -
Goblin rebellions in Britain.
Muggle persecution reaches an all-time high. These are dark times for the Magical Community. The governments of the Wizarding World meets to consider solutions to the crisis and create the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy of 1692. This not only completes the separation of the two cultures but also lays the responsibility on the various Wizarding governments in each country for maintaining the secrecy of everything from Quidditch games to dragons. Over the years, for Muggles, magic becomes the stuff of fairy tales and legend.
1800’s -
Giants warred amongst themselves, bringing their species to the brink of extinction
1970’s -
Voldemort’s rise to power, culminating in his battle with James and Lily Potter and his defeat by Harry Potter (10/31/81). The Giants, most of whom fought for Voldemort, retreat to northern Europe.
1990’s -
Voldemort rises again (1994)

Why, When, Where, Who, What, and How

If he only loves me in my dreams, then let me sleep forever.

I used to spend every day thinking about you. When you walked by, I lost myself. Do you know what that’s like? To love somebody so much but not have them love you back? You miss the way I looked at you. Well I don’t miss the way you didn’t look at me.

Just live and breathe
And try not to die again
I cry for the time
That you were almost mine,
I cry for the memories
I’ve left behind,
I cry for the pain,
The lost, the old the new,
I cry for the times
I thought I had you
When something’s over,
It’s over.
It can never start again.
When it’s broken
You can never
Put back the pieces.
Life is not the way
You want it to be.
When you know that someone’s
Hurting you so much, just stop.
We know that it hurts a lot,
But you must learn to let go things.
Don’t push yourself too hard.
Coz we all know,
That in every ending,
There’s such a thing
That we call the beginning...
I do to my body,
What has been,
Done to my soul.
It only hurts
When you start
Pretending it doesn’t..
I wanna die
I wanna bleed
I wanna cry
But all i can do
Is just keep walking
With a smile on my face
And pretend the scars
Aren’t really there
I wrote this love note
With my own blood
So you know it came
Straight from my heart.
Every night i talk to the stars
Pretending it’s you..
It acts just like you though..
Far away and
Never replies to my questions
Not all scars show,
Not all wounds heal,
Sometimes you can’t see
The pain someone feels.
Pain is what
Makes me stronger.
I’m holding onto something,
Hoping it will come back,
But knowing it won’t.
Emo is over,
You can all go home now.
I sit here crying,
Not because I miss you,
But because I know
I’ll never have a chance to hurt you
Like you hurt me.

You’re the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning. You’re the last thing I think of before I go to sleep. Throughout the day you are always on my mind. At night, when I am sleeping, you are in my dreams. I guess I should tell you I love you.

I want to tell you what I’m feeling, but I don’t know where to start. I want to tell you everything, but I’m afraid you’ll only break my heart. Why would something so easy, be so hard to do? When all I have to say is that “I love you.”

It just makes me realize how weird life is that the exact same moment that meant nothing to you, you meant everything to me. Now I can’t forget, and you can’t remember.

I just want one chance. That’s it. One chance for you to kiss and hold me, and if then you don’t have feelings for me, then, and only then, will I allow myself to get over you.

You make me happy. You are the person I get up every single day to see. You are the one I come to school to talk to. So, when you’re not there, I don’t know how to get through my day.

I hate it so much when you have to leave, but I love it so much when you smile and say “talk to ya later.”

Sometimes I wish I could scream at you, and show you just what it is that you do to me.

There’s just something about him that grabs my heart, and it makes me hurt inside to know that I can’t have him.

My heart skips a beat when someone signs online, and it skips a beat when the phone rings, and it skips a beat when the doorbell rings. My heart only skips a beat because it may be you.

Promise me. That’s all I want. Just a promise that you will never forget me. Tell me I changed you somehow. Let me know I had an impact on your life. Promise me that you’ll always remember me. Please. Losing you was hard enough, but I don’t want to go on knowing I meant absolutely nothing to you.

I bet no other girl will remember every detail about you…except for me…I bet no other girl will remember your favorite song except for me…No other girl will remember your perfect smile, except for me…so why is it that you look at every other girl…except for me?

It’s not telling you how I feel that scares me, it’s what you’ll say back.

It’s so hard because I love you so much and you don’t even have a clue that I like you.

If you loved me the way I love you, I’d let you hurt me just so you would be happy.

Even though I love you so much, you’re so stupid. Completely oblivious to the fact that right in front of you is a girl, who dreams about you every night, who would treat you like a king, who would never stop loving you, and yet you go after those other girls. And you wonder why your love life sucks.

Do you ever get that feeling where you don’t want to talk to anyone and you don’t want to fake being happy? But at the same time you don’t know exactly what’s wrong either? There isn’t a way to explain it to someone who doesn’t already understand. If you could want anything in the world it would be to be alone. People have stopped being comforting and being alone never was. At least when you’re alone no one is constantly asking you what’s wrong, and there isn’t anyone who won’t take I don’t know for an answer. You feel the way you do. Just because. You hope this will pass on, and that you’ll be yourself again, but until then, all you can do is wait.

There is nothing worse than watching the one you love, loving someone else.

I know I shouldn’t like him because I know that it’s not working. Everybody tells me that, and I convince myself I don’t. Then I see him and he’ll smile, or put his arm around, me or just say something. Then all that logic and convincing me just evaporates.

Do you see what you do to me? Do you have any idea at all?

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most; saying something and wishing you had not or saying nothing and wishing you had? I guess the most important things in life are the hardest things to say.

You know you like her. Would it kill you to admit it? Maybe treat her half way decent? Because you know that she deserves it. She’s not going to wait around for you forever.

I know I’m not the most beautiful girl, or the smartest, or at times I’m not the nicest. But that’s just because I don’t know who to trust, I got hurt really bad and I’m afraid to let nice people in, such as you.
